Christi is also an amazing resource- she made the planning process incredibly smooth (in a three-month timeline as well!), she has the best recommendations, and she is a great listener! “ There are not enough words to describe how amazing our entire experience with Green Gables was. The venue stood out to us from the start, so green, and each of the buildings were perfect for our vision. Although initially a little further from Charlotte than we'd like, we just shuttled our guests to and from the venue and it was worth it. The getting ready space is a cute farmhouse that photographs really well in getting ready photos, with separate spaces for guys and gals. We chose an outdoor ceremony site (though there are options and rain plans), a cocktail hour in the barn, and our reception in the great pavilion which had plenty of space. We accented with tons of florals and it was beautiful! There were also countless spots to get group and couple shots throughout the property.”

Christi's decor room was filled with elegant options that exceeded our expectations and was exactly how we envisioned it on the day of. It was also extremely helpful to use her decor because it saved us a lot of time and money as we didn't have to worry about bringing it to the venue beforehand. “The location is perfect and the setting was truly beautiful. It rained our entire wedding day and Christi and her team had everything set up to make the contingency changes and move our ceremony and cocktail hour the day before. Christi and her team have such a tight run ship that everything went off without a hitch. It was so great to see her and her team dancing along with us during our reception too. “The day right after hurricane Ian had hit the Carolinas. I was a panicky mess because I wasn’t sure if I would even be able to have a wedding with the storm there. Christi and the entire Green Gables Farm staff were so patient and kind throughout the whole thing. They constantly kept us updated and answered any questions we had. I owe my whole wedding experience to them. How do you even plan for a wedding in the middle of a hurricane? The ceremony space was breath taking and the share closet had a ton of beautiful items that helped us save money.
